Dots

Ive seen pictures of manis with dots using a nail template(cant remember which one) but since I dont have any templates, I decided to recreate it on my own. I didnt want an over the top mani so I settled for some non-flashy colors.

O.P.I. Skull and Glossbones, O.P.I. Ate berries in the canaries, China Glaze Shower Together, China Glaze For Audrey

Im always drawn to Skull and Glossbones if I cant think of what to paint my nails. It the perfect shade of gray for me. I wanted a pop of something on the nail so I went with dots. The colors are real pretty together. I wonder what they would look like water marbled...I will try that soon. What's your go to polish if you cant figure out what color to paint your nails?

Pink Wednesday!!! First Sponge Mani

Lately Ive been seeing sponge manis everywhere on the nail blogs and think they look  nice so I was like what the heck, I should try it too. So I went to my local beauty supply store and bought some sponges and a beautiful holo nail polish to put on top.

Zoya Mischa, Color Club Raspberry Rush, WnW Waves of Enchantment, O.P.I. Ate Berries in the Canaries,  Zoya Valerie( forgot to add in the pic) Kleancolor Holo Pink

I love pink so I wanted to do a pink sponge mani. I think all of these colors go well together. It was easier than I thought. I sponged them in the order that they are in on the pics. It only took me a total of maybe 20 mins to do both hands. I will definitely try out more sponge manis in the future. The nail blogs have started something :).

Zoya Crystal

Happy Monday to you all! :) Hope your day is going great. I got 2 calls today for job interviews and one of them I went to this afternoon and go back again wednesday...so fingers crossed on that. But anyway...on to the polish.....TA-DA!
Crystal

Zoya Crystal...Ive been eyeing this polish for awhile now and finally got it a few weeks ago. She is from the Fire and Ice Holiday Collection. This polish is so beautiful and different. Its a metallic blue foil with gold foil glitter.

I feel like this is what the inside of a sea shell should look like. To me, this was easy to apply but its sheer so I did two coats. What do you think of this polish? Have you tried it?

Color Club Wicked Sweet Collection

A few days ago I went to Ross looking for stuff for my son's pre-k graduation and happened to wander into the beauty section :) and found these...
the color club wicked sweet minis. These are my first color clubs. This four pack was only $3.99. I love the bright colors and a plus is that theyre scented.

Get your Lem-On

Get your Lem-On is a highlighter yellow that smells good...it smells like lemons but a sweet lemon to me if that makes since. This is 2 coats which I couldve done 3.

Yum Gum

Yum Gum is the perfect neon bubble gum pink and it smells like the original bubble yum :)

Wicked Sweet

Wicked Sweet is a neon blue with tealshimmers. I cant pinpoint this scent though...

Raspberry Rush

Raspberry Rush is my favorite out of these four. I love pink and the fact that its neon hot pink is awwweeesome :). Im wearing this color right now as I type and to be honest, I cant stop smelling my fingernails...Ive been smelling them all day. The scent remind me of skittles, mike & ikes, or jolly ranchers...I cant decide but it smells so good.

Hopefully, I can find the other ones soon because I would love to try those ones too.

Pink Wednesday...Wet n Wild Waves of Enchantment

This beauty right here is Wet n Wild Waves of Enchantment. I found this at CVS for $1.99. Its part of the new collection called Mermaids Cove. This is a pinky coral. After I purchased it, I realized this is suppose to be a dupe for Zoya Rica....which from the pictures Ive seen, it is. This is such a beautiful color and I love all the shimmers

My first...Pink Wednesday!!! Zoya Mischa

This was my first Zoya polish ever and I'm so glad I bought this. Mischa is a light rosy pink shade with gold and silver shimmer. Its a little on the sheer side. This is three coats even though theres still the VNL. This is the perfect polish to wear to work if you dont want a Bam in your face color but still want a pretty shimmer.

Oh Zoya, How I love thee...

Remove +(empty), Mischa, Jules, Caitlin
My love for Zoya came about a few months ago...I saw Mischa and on impulse I bought it because I thought it was such a pretty color...and boy was I glad I purchased it. There started my obsession with Zoya. I have about 95% of that left already. Mischa is a beautiful pink...sort of a dusty pink with gold shimmer. Next I wanted to see what all the hype was about Remove + and OMG its heaven. This is the best polish remover hands down and now Im a Remove + converter. Unfortunately I recently ran out so Im going crazy but thats on my list to get as soon as I get paid friday. :) But back to the polishes, next was Caitlin, which is a purplish blue gray that I bought on birchbox after I saw everyones YouTube videos. I fell in love all over again. The last color...but not for long...is Jules which I bought to wear to a job interview...its a champagne color with gold and silver shimmer. For some reason, everytime i look at it, it reminds me of the sand at the beach :) Everyday I find a new Zoya color that like and now I have a list of at least 50 colors if not more :) Zoya has become my favorite brand even though I only have 3. What was your first Zoya color?

Chanel Mimosa Dupe...Loreal Yellow Seahorse

Loreal Yellow Seahorse

Yellow Seahorse over Unicorn
So lately Ive been hearing about Chanel Mimosa and I think that yellow is absolutely beautiful but I dont want to spend that much on a polish. I happen to be in CVS two weeks ago and saw Loreal Yellow Seahorse. So I decided to buy it and layer it over Sinful Colors Unicorn(which IMO is very streaky) and voila! a Chanel Mimosa Dupe. Do you have Chanel Mimosa or know of anymore dupes for it?

Pure Ice Desire You

OMG i am in love with this color. i picked it up when i went to walmart with my fiance. this is a pretty lavender but can also look like a pretty pink rose color. this is one that i will be wearing quite often. so much so that i think i might pick up another one the next time i go to walmart. the pic is with 2 coats. it was good with just one but i wanted to see if the color would be more opaque with 2 but it just looks the same. i love the pure ice brand. my pure ice collection is steadily increasing. i cant help it, everytime i go to walmart, i just have to pick some up. i highly recommend these polishes and for $2 you cant beat it. go check them out.

Happy Fourth...featuring China Glaze Frostbite

Im very excited about my first post ever. Ive been thinking about starting a blog for the longest time. So finally here I am! I got this idea from Let them have Polish. I used China Glaze frostbite and on my ring fingers, I used Butter London Pearly Queen. Over those I used OPI Silver Shatter. I really love this royal blue. I think it compliments my skintone. Hope you Enjoy!
